Based at Northgate Arts Centre, Ipswich and working at various locations across Suffolk.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about music education and able to lead the highly regarded and thriving Suffolk County Music Service. You will lead the team providing both high quality support to schools and Suffolk-wide opportunities for young musicians to develop and perform at the highest level. This includes leadership of the Suffolk Music Hub.

You will be able to offer:

  • inspirational advocacy of music education and a vision of its future
  • a proven track record of leading music education and of wider leadership and management in an education and/or local authority setting
  • comprehensive knowledge and understanding of music education
  • an ability to maintain, and build on, positive relationships with existing funding partners, whilst developing new sources of funding.

This post will require travel, and at times, evening and weekend work.
