To provide outstanding teaching, maintaining the high standards of the Collegiate.  As Head of Department you will be responsible for the academic development and management of the Creative Arts and to promote a collaborative and cross curricular focus across the Creative Arts.  This job description is written at a specific time and is subject to change as the demands of the School and the role develops. The role requires flexibility and adaptability and the employees of the Collegiate need to be aware that they may be asked to perform tasks and be given responsibilities not detailed in this job description. 

Creative Arts includes Art and Design, Fashion, Photography, Textiles, Ceramics, Design Technology, Music, Drama and Performing Arts.

Expectations

The Head of Creative Arts will take overall responsibility for all of the areas listed above, will develop new areas of the curriculum to further our provision, and will work to develop our co-curricular offerings.
