The School:
GEMS Al Barsha National School for Girls will open in September 2016 offering the National Curriculum for England with an emphasis on Arabic and Islamic Education.

The post:
Head of Department – Arabic & Islamic Education


Selection criteria:

  • Expertise in Arabic Language or Islamic Studies and evidence of implementing best practice in classroom learning
  • Ability to provide leadership and management to the Arabic or Islamic Education department
  • Sound understanding of education standards and a clear understanding of what constitutes “outstanding” teaching and learning
  • You will be degree qualified and hold a recognized teaching qualification.
  • Heads of Department must hold a degree in Arabic Language or Islamic Studies.
