About the role: From September 2022, Longfield Academy has a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join us as Head of Department - Business and Economics. This is an excellent position for a first step into leadership, supported by a strong Director of Learning and experienced department. Our successful applicant will have the opportunity to develop and demonstrate leadership skills and be able to drive and motivate a team who achieve excellent results. ​​​​​​​Our students undertake a programme of assessment designed to assess not only their knowledge and understanding of business, but also the way in which this knowledge and understanding can be applied to shape their practical skill in thinking and realising their own plans about business.
