Job overview

We know it can be difficult to recruit exceptional teachers into departmental leadership positions, so we are offering a Recruitment and Retention Bonus of £3,000 - £5,000 for the successful candidate who takes on this role (amount based on prior experience and vision/capacity to further improve the department). Half of the bonus is payable in your first month, and the second half is payable in August 2023 provided you are still employed and are not working a notice period).

We are looking to recruit an extraordinary Head of Department - Geography who shares our vision and commitment the young people of this community. You will be joining a highly motivated and passionate group of staff who work tirelessly in the best interests of the students. Staff development is central to everything we do and you will receive weekly CPD sessions as well as designated department time to work collaboratively with team members.
