Due to the retirement of a longstanding member of staff, the opportunity has arisen to appoint an experienced, creative and dynamic leader for the MFL Department. The successful candidate will be committed to leading the curriculum area to ensure high quality teaching and learning and ensuring high standards and achievements.
This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for teaching languages with evidence of enabling students to surpass expectations. Experience in teaching French and Spanish to key stages 3-5 with a good curriculum knowledge and understanding of GCSE and A-Level requirements.
The governing body is looking for a committed, strong and enthusiastic individual who displays outstanding teaching and can ensure that all students make at least good progress. You will display a mix of creativity, innovation, and you will be able to inspire and motivate students. The successful candidate will display a passion for the subject and be able to foster an enjoyment of foreign languages within their lessons. We are looking for someone who will contribute to extra-curricular to promote languages in school. This is an exciting time to join a faculty and build on the continuing success.
The governing body are looking for the successful candidate to introduce Spanish into the department as this is not currently offered.
