We are delighted to offer the opportunity to join St. Cuthbert’s RC High School, a popular and exciting school with our state of the art building providing a wonderful environment for learning.  

The Governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified practitioner with a proven track record of success to lead the Music Department. They will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a drive to improve the life chances of young people through education.  

The role is to develop and implement a successful curriculum which enables all students to make at least expected progress and provides an enjoyable learning experience for all.     

The successful candidate will be joining a school which is progressive, innovative and extremely ambitious.  The Governors and Senior Leaders are committed to professional development and staff well-being. 

The successful candidate will be supported via a bespoke training and development plan appropriate to their individual needs and aspirations.

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and improve practice in others
