Washington School is seeking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and inspirational Head of Department to deliver to the high standards required by the Music department of our school. The successful candidate will need ambition, vivacity and a creative intellect with the capacity to augment the continual development programme undertaken for the benefit of our students. The ability to teach across the curriculum within the Music department is required along with the capability to further enhance outcomes at KS4. Washington School offers staff excellent resources in a state-of-the-art building.

Washington School is a successful school judged to be Grade 2, ‘good’ in all four Ofsted categories. We believe that by developing positive relationships within our school community, as well as with all stakeholders, we can more positively impact upon the education of the whole child.
