Chipping Norton School is looking for the right person to take on the role of:
Head of Department Science
Permanent post MPS 4/UPS (£28,772 - £38,633) and a TLR1b (£9,472)
We are seeking an inspirational leader from September 2018 to lead a dedicated and ambitious team within this flourishing rural school. The successful candidate will be skilled in teaching across the whole of the Science curriculum at KS3, KS4 and KS5. The Head of Department must be experienced in making students feel engaged and motivated, and will successfully continue to improve student outcomes. This is one of our highest performing departments and results have been consistently good and significantly above national averages.
The department is well led, lively, vibrant and innovative. Science personnel aim to deliver Science lessons which capture students’ curiosities, encourage academic rigour and develop a wide-ranging knowledge base. This permanent post would suit a teacher who:

• Will lead and inspire others.
