Head of Department- Science

Required for September 2022 

The governing body of St. Chad's Catholic and Church of England Academy are looking to recruit an exceptional head of science to raise the standards of curriculum implementation, attainment and  achievement. We have a strong culture built on an aspirational set of Christian values.  

St Chad’s is a school which is ambitious for its students and staff and we are looking for someone highly-motivated, with energy, ambition and strong leadership skills who has a proven track record of effective impact and someone to  provide pedagogical leadership within our science department. We are particularly interested in candidates who share our passion to improve the life chances of young people, regardless of background. This post would suit an experienced middle leader or an aspiring middle leader at an earlier stage of their leadership journey.
