This independent day and boarding school for girls aged 4 – 18 has a co-educational nursery attached for children aged 2 ½ - 4 years and is situated in beautiful countryside on the Buckinghamshire/Northamptonshire border. The school has grown significantly over the past decade and there have been some exciting new developments including a new Prep School building, a performing arts suite and a science teaching block. A new Sixth Form opens this September.
Due to an unprecedented demand for places this September a new opportunity has arisen for a Head of Department / Teacher of Mathematics.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher of Mathematics who will be able to lead the department and maintain and develop the high standards for which we are known. 51% of overall grades this year were A*/A with 42% A*/A in Mathematics.
The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate, passionate about the teaching of Mathematics and ready to participate fully in the life of the school. S/He will be expected to teach throughout the school, including A level.
