Pathways School, one of the top IB schools in India is seeking to appoint a Head of Department (HOD) Design and Technology for its Noida School. The school is a 3 programme IB school, offering only the PYP, MYP and DP programmes. This School was established in 2010 and is already ranked 6th in a Hindustan Times survey of schools.

 Previous experience with working in international education in Asia preferably with the IB  would be an advantage. Candidates should have a sound knowledge of designing and making at middle school level.

Department infrastructure is in place with appropriate attention to international health and safety expectations along with two fully equipped workshops and a design studio including Laser cutting and 3D printers.

 The Employment Contract is for two years renewable on mutual consent. The salary is paid in Indian Rupees and for many nationalities is tax free for the two first years.

About Pathways School Noida

Pathways World School, Noida is a mainstream, all-through, independent, international day school for children aged 3-18. It is situated in Noida in Dehli and has over 1000 pupils on its roll.

Pathways Noida is part of a group of international schools based in India.

The school was launched in 2010 and it was the first IB school in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Teaching at Pathways Noida

The role of the teacher at an IB school is believed to be that of a facilitator. Most of the teachers at Noida are appointed because they are Masters or PhD’s their subject area. They are hired based on previous experience both in India and abroad and new teachers are given mentors to train them in the IB methodology of teaching.
