Head of Design Technology

We are an Independent Prep School for children aged 2½ - 13 years situated in 300 acres of woodland, with excellent facilities and a caring family atmosphere. You will be joining a thriving prep school in the heart of Sussex with a friendly, hardworking and supportive team.

We are looking to appoint a Head of Design Technology with the ability to offer other subjects at KS2 & KS3.

This position is a superb opportunity for a qualified, dynamic teacher to provide high quality teaching of the Design Technology curriculum through the school. The department is well resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided. There is a Head of Department allowance payable for this position in addition to a competitive salary.

The successful candidate will be:

• a well-qualified teacher with an ability to teach DT and other subjects.
• an excellent classroom practitioner able to inspire children.
• expected to play a full part in the extra-curricular activities of this forward thinking school.
