Bluecoat Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an outstanding teacher to model and lead the development of teaching and learning in the Design Technology department at Bluecoat Academy’s Wollaton Park Campus.   

The multi academy Trust is growing and this appointment comes at a key time when Bluecoat is fulfilling its ambitions to support a growing number of young people’s learning. This growth, together with the opportunity to join an organisation with a large, supportive and talented Senior Leadership Team, will provide an excellent development opportunity for the post holder.  

As Head of Design Technology, you will be highly motivated and able to provide strategic leadership to a team of staff. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has the ability to coach and develop leadership potential within our staff and students, and will play a significant role in quality assurance and leading innovation, change and the development of improvement strategies. Furthermore, you will have Food Technology teaching experience.
