Amity International school, Abu Dhabi is looking to appoint a Head of Digital Strategy to help lead and manage this key focus of our next development phase.


ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Established eight years ago, Amity International School is a relative new established British Curriculum International School with an already accomplished reputation for Sport, Music, Arts and Academia. The school educates boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 18 with an emphasis on kindness, and the development of character within its broad holistic curriculum. The magnificent 15 acre bay-side campus allows the school to boast unique school facilities within a beautiful setting on the perimeter of the UAE's capital, providing an inspirational working environment where pupils are committed and keen to learn.


Amity International School is part of the wider Amity Education Group which is set-up as a not-for-profit organisation.


ABOUT THE POSITION

The school opened 7 years ago and has been in a steady state of expansion since. In 2022, the school will open to Year 13 for the first time. This term, the school opened a new, wing of classrooms to accommodate the school expansion and two more ICT rooms.


A key aspect of the role is to give the whole school a strategic direction in how best to deploy technology to deliver the best pupil achievement and outcomes. 


The successful candidate will take a lead role in establishing, with the support of the current senior leadership and the Amity Education Group, the school’s use of innovative and effective ways to enhance the educational experience of children, both within the classroom and in the administration and support departments.

Start date for this position will be Immediate. However, a later start such as January 2023 or later would be considered for the right candidate.
