We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic, highly motivated, committed professional with the ambition and drive necessary for the leadership skills this role will entail. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven record of success at both Key Stage 4 and 5. This position offers the opportunity to join an extremely successful Performing Arts Faculty that consistently achieves examination results above both the local and national levels.
The appointed candidate will be expected to lead the hugely successful annual Bishopshalt Operatic and Drama production, alongside other members of the Faculty. Our expectation would be for this to maintain or if possible to exceed the standard already set.
You will have the opportunity to teach A level Drama as Performing Arts based subjects are a popular choice amongst our Sixth Form.

About Bishopshalt School
Bishopshalt School is a mixed, non-denominational academy secondary school and sixth form for pupils aged 11-18. It is located in Uxbridge, Middlesex, and has about 1,300 pupils.
The school was established as Uxbridge County School in the Greenway in 1907. The former grammar school became a comprehensive school In 1977. It is now operated by the school’s academy trust.
