The Elmgreen School is looking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Head of Drama who has a passion for his or her subject and a commitment to ensuring that staff and students share that passion. We want you to inspire the next generation and have the ability to drive forward that vision for your department. We want a candidate who is going to take us to the next level of excellence at KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be joining a highly inclusive school rated good by Ofsted, and a staff team that are determined to change lives through the education we provide.

About The Elmgreen School

The Elmgreen School is a unique 11-18 secondary school. It is a non denominational mixed school which opened to its first cohort of year 7 students in September 2007.   The secondary Hearing Impaired Unit is co-located within the school. We will reach our full complement of 1100 students in 2014 which will include a 200 place sixth form. The school moved to its inspirational new building in September 2009.

The school is non selective and provides a creative and innovative curriculum, encouraging the highest standards of teaching and learning within an ethos of mutual respect, harmony and achievement.
