Queen’s College, Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the South West of the country, educating more than 500 boys and girls (day and boarding), aged 3 months to 18 years, and is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust.
We are looking to recruit a Head of Economics for a September 2022 or January 2023 start date, to be able to teach A-level Economics to a high standard. The ideal candidate will also offer Business Studies GCSE and/or A level and/or Marketing BTEC. They will facilitate good teaching and learning in the subject to raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement within the subject and to monitor and support pupil development. They will have a passion for and a good knowledge of current developments in pedagogy and practice.
