Job overview

We are looking for an experienced colleague with creative ideas on how to support lifelong learning to further build our education and skills work to support life science and the biopharmaceutical industry in the UK.  

The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) represents innovative research-based biopharmaceutical companies, large, medium and small, leading an exciting new era of biosciences in the UK.  

The Head of Education and Academic Liaison at ABPI leads our education work for our industry through the ABPI exam as well as the policy and partnership with educational institutions to address the industry’s skills needs in the UK now and in the future.  The Head of Education and Academic Liaison also leads our award-winning ABPI educational support (via the ABPI schools site) and career information offerings.  

Building talent through education is a core need for the life sciences and our industry, and the Head of Education and Academic Liaison will be also closely involved in the policy debates and submissions to Government that ABPI undertakes on behalf of our members.
