Welcome to Carrdus School. We are a day prep school for girls and boys aged 3 - 11, just outside Banbury on the borders of Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire. We are a small and friendly country school owned by Tudor Hall School

We offer academic rigour with adventure and imagination at our heart and our aim is is to give every child a really happy and confident start to school life.

We are a school where children can be children. By focusing on the individual and enabling them to follow their Carrdus Pathway, every child can flourish and grow at their own pace. Strong, supportive relationships are built with all our boys and girls, helping them to develop to their full potential both personally and academically. As a result our children quickly become independent, confident and resilient individuals; happy to have a go and do their best. They are imaginative, aspirational and empathetic; getting on easily with those around them and sensitive to their differing needs.

All children are different. At Carrdus we encourage them to discover hidden talents and new-found abilities by providing them with a wide range of opportunities, both in and out of the classroom.

We are a family at Carrdus, underpinned by strong core values including tolerance, honesty and respect. Everything we do is carried out with these in mind and as a consequence our children are kind and considerate; sensitive to the needs of others. We build strong links between home and school as we know that these are critical to each child thriving. Your child’s education is a partnership between us, the school and you, the parents.
