A well-qualified, highly motivated and outstanding professional with a proven track record to take the leading role in the English Department from April 2019 in a supportive and team-orientated School graded as ‘Good’ in all categories. (Ofsted June 2018). The school has above average GCSE results and a positive progress 8 score.
For applicants of the right experience and calibre, there will be an opportunity to join our SLT in a seconded Associate Assistant Headteacher role from September 2019 for a period of one year in the first instance.
The successful candidate will have proven expertise and be someone with a passion for their subject who will inspire and engage our students and be able to manage a team effectively and know how to get the best from each teacher in the department. You will actively assist in the further development of English within the School.
Our English Department has grown in strength with the current team and we are looking for an engaging and forward-thinking individual who will lead and build on the success of the department. We are looking for an outstanding teacher, with the ability to deliver high quality teaching in all key stages.
