The Governing Body are seeking to appoint an aspirational, outstanding practitioner to join our Middle Management Team; a rare and exciting opportunity for the right person. This pivotal role is key to making ongoing improvements in the English curriculum across KS3 & KS4 and the successful candidate will need drive and strategic vision, combined with highly effective communication skills that will encourage, motivate and lead.

Hunters Hill provides residential and day placements for 120 children aged 11-16 with emotional, social and mental health difficulties including Autistic Spectrum Condition. The successful candidate needs to be able to inspire young people to achieve their maximum potential, and have an excellent understanding of the challenges they face.

The successful candidate should be able to share their passion for English, have a proven successful track record, an ability to develop inspirational programmes of study and be willing to deliver INSET.

You will need to deliver consistently high quality lessons which demonstrate good /outstanding teaching, have genuine enthusiasm to work with our young people who are at the very heart of all that we do, and thrive on challenge in order to attain positive outcomes.
