This appointment arises as a result of the incumbent’s decision to return to a part-time teaching post at Bablake after 10 years’ excellent service as a full-time member of the team. It represents an excellent opportunity for advancement, and would suit an inspiring, highly qualified and ambitious teacher, capable of teaching English to A level.
Above all, the successful candidate will have an infectious enthusiasm for the value and relevance of English in young people’s lives, as well as the vision and organisational skills to lead the department through the next stage of its development.
