Millfield Prep School is looking for a full-time Head of English from 1st September 2023.

We are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, innovative, collaborative and has willingness to become involved in the many aspects of the English Department. You will lead a team of teachers and be responsible for curriculum, assessment and monitoring in Years Pre-Prep to 8, whilst teaching English to pupils in Years 6-8, including academic scholars. As our Head of English, you will be responsible for extension sessions and line manage our librarian. In this role, you will work collaboratively as part of a team of Heads of Department under the direction of our Deputy Head (Academic).
