We want an innovative and energetic teacher to lead this key department. The successful candidate will have high standards, dynamism, excellent communication skills, leadership potential and a record of high quality teaching across the age range. We expect our heads of department to tirelessly champion their subject and to encourage intellectual curiosity and active learning. This position offers a fine opportunity to a charismatic and ambitious teacher and would be ideal for someone looking for their first HoD appointment. Warminster School is committed to the development of its staff and runs its own Middle and Senior Leadership Development programmes. Experience of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme would be beneficial but is not essential.
The person appointed will also be expected to contribute fully to the pastoral and co-curricular life of the School.
Warminster has its own salary scale, above national scales, and other staff benefits, including significant fee reductions for staff children.
