The Mount School York is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Head of English, due to the current post holder retiring. The successful candidate must be able to teach English Language and English Literature to GSCE and A Level and be committed to playing a key role in whole school productions, working collaboratively with Drama staff. This is a full-time role, but a part-time position could be considered. The post will commence September 2019.
The Mount School York is a thriving boarding and day community set in 16 acres of beautiful grounds located ten minutes’ walk from York’s historic city centre. The Mount is a school for girls aged 2 to 18 and boys aged 2 to 4. We are an iPad school and all pupils and staff have iPads and use them as an integral tool in their teaching and learning.
