We are currently recruiting to the role of Head of Estates and Facilities who will be responsible for delivering outstanding operational estates management for Lingfield College. This is a key role in establishing and managing cost effective estates services, planned maintenance programmes and contracts in liaison with all internal and external stakeholders, as well as ensuring full legal compliance with the School’s statutory obligations.
You will lead the Maintenance Team to provide a high standard of maintenance, cleaning and security of the School site, as well as oversee the School’s IT Support Services led by our IT Operations Manager. As a forward-thinking independent school, there will be ongoing developments for the site, and you will be involved in the project management of these to successfully meet agreed deadlines.
You will have experience of managing in an estates or facilities role, preferably in an education environment, and a proven track record of delivering planned maintenance programmes. Experience of contract negotiations is essential as is managing or supervising a team. You should have a knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
This is a hands-on role which requires excellent planning, project management and organisational skills, along with the ability to manage, motivate and act as a positive role model for the team.
