EYFS Teacher 

Aldar Academies are seeking an outstanding Head of EYFS for Al Muna Academy commencing April 2018. The school is a high achieving British Curriculum school from FS1 to year 6.  Outstanding teaching and the use of first class resources and facilities ensure we deliver a rich and varied curriculum in an inspiring, creative and memorable way.  

The successful candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed in order to achieve the best possible outcomes. Also, possess energy and enthusiasm to deliver lessons that engage, enthuse and motivate our learners. 


Requirements:

  • BA in Education or PGCE with minimum of 5 years teaching experience
  • Strong experience teaching the English National Curriculum
  • Previous experience working with students  whom English is not their first language
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
  • A high level of professionalism and consideration of the well-being of children
  • Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
  • Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age   and ethnic background
  • A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
  • A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check

Muna British Academy opened in September 2009. Facilities at the school are excellent and include a large astro-turf field, outdoor swimming pool, well stocked library, a large multi-purpose hall and gym, a number of computer suites and outdoor play areas.

Muna British Academy is a very happy, purposeful place for children to learn. Children love coming to our school. We pride ourselves on the progress children make, the quality of relationships in the school and the ways that we ensure that children are safe and well cared for. Although we have almost 100 staff and over 700 pupils, visitors regularly comment on our family atmosphere and happy community feel.
