As part of our growth, we have reached a point where an existing faculty needs to be split into two, creating two leadership opportunities, one in Science and the other in Maths/ICT Computing

Chemistry and Physics are core curriculum subjects in KS4.  Physics especially is also popular in KS5, and as a subject is critical to the development of our young engineers.  Some students also study BTEC Science at Level 2 and Level 3 dependent on demand.  We are looking for an experienced leader to take on this faculty.  We would be particularly interested to hear from those with good Chemistry experience.

Candidates will need to have experience of delivering at both Level 2 and 3, and be able to develop schemes of work that will tap into our students’ enthusiasm for their specialisms and provide relevant context. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of our students leaving as ‘high-performing, work-ready, young people’
