Head of Faculty (Secondary English)

International School Brunei requires an experienced Head of Faculty to lead the successful Secondary Language and Literature (English) Faculty from January 2022 onward (or earlier for an excellent candidate).  

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a dynamic faculty focussed on the highest possible standards of teaching and learning and will be able to foster a positive, collaborative working environment within the faculty and Middle Leadership. Experience of leading English provision at Key Stage 3 and I/GCSE is a requirement and IBDP experience is a distinct advantage. 

Established in 1964, International School Brunei (ISB) has over 50 years of experience as a non-profit, vibrant, inclusive school. English is a core subject at ISB, studied by all Secondary students, with high levels of attainment, enjoyment and engagement. Students following an adapted British Curriculum at KS3, IGCSE and Cambridge English First Language and English Literature at IGCSE. At IBDP students have the option to study English A: Language and Literature at either Standard Level or Higher Level.
