Head of Foundation Stage - Assistant Head

Foremarke School Dubai is seeking an outstanding Head of Foundation Stage - Assistant Head to commence August 2021

Purpose of the Role:

• Support, develop and hold accountable a team of class teachers focusing on high standards of social, pastoral and academic development
• Consistently exemplify the high standards and ethos of the school in terms of academic and behavioural expectations, attendance and punctuality, dress code, communication and professionalism
• Establish and maintain lines of professional, clear and informative communication and to actively promote the SIP, demonstrating a commitment to the raising of standards
• Liaise with other heads of year to ensure continuity in practices and expectations across the school, to aid transition between phases and to provide regular progress updates to SMT to ensure all are fully aware of all successes, issues and concerns within the year group

Successful candidates will:

• Hold Bachelors of Education and PGCE with appropriate specialism, or
• Hold Bachelors in subject relevant to teaching specialism plus PGCE
• Have experience teaching in a UK setting or renowned British Curriculum /  international school
• Be at least 24 years old
