Dubai British School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Head of Foundation Stage Team Leader with class teaching responsibility to join us from August 2016. The successful candidate will be a member of the Primary Senior Leadership Team.
To be considered for this role, you should have the following:
- A University degree
- A Primary Teaching Qualification (preferably Early Years)
- At least 2 years in a middle or senior leadership position within a school
- Recent teaching experience
- Strong knowledge and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum
- Excellent communication skills and command of the English language, in spoken and written form
- You will be a collaborative team-player with excellent personal skills
- You will be a flexible leader capable of managing growth and instilling high standards

Our Curriculum
The curriculum at DBS is modelled on the National Curriculum for England, significantly enhanced by ‘Wow Learning’, the study of Arabic throughout and a challenging set of GCSE and GCE A Level courses from Year 10 to Year 13. We welcome a wide range of students to study a curriculum, which is designed to extend and excite all of them, whatever their interests or ability. The opportunities that students enjoy outside the classroom are just as important as the main curriculum and we offer an extensive and varied extra-curricular activities programme (ECA).
