Job overview
Required from Easter, a highly motivated classroom practitioner, with a proven record of helping pupils achieve excellent exam outcomes. You will manage a small team, one of whom will hold a TLR responsibility to support you, and you will work collaboratively with the Heads of German and Spanish. The ability to teach a second language would be an advantage.
Northgate is an 11 - 18 school with high attainment across all key stages. Previously a Language College, the school retains a specialist identity, helping a high percentage of KS4 pupils achieve a language GCSE and attracting A level linguists from other local KS4 providers. We are situated on the edge of Ipswich. We offer a first-class professional development package to all staff and are a strategic partner in a Teaching School Alliance.

Northgate High School is a mainstream, state-community, co-educational, non-denominational, secondary school for children aged 11-18. It is situated in Ipswich in Suffolk and there are 1750 pupils on its roll.
