Strode College is an outstanding Further Education College with a local and national reputation for excellence; we have excellent teaching and support and our students aspire to and achieve the results they need to move on to their next opportunity. The college is placed in the top 10% of colleges nationally, and is one of the top performing colleges in the south west.
We work hard to meet the needs of our local community; whether they are young people taking vocational or A-level qualifications, those seeking high quality local degree programmes or adults who are developing their professional skills or seeking a change of career.
The College provides specialist work-based training in the form of Apprenticeships and work related professional qualifications. Our dedicated Employer Engagement team works closely with local businesses to support them to meet their workforce needs, sourcing apprentices and providing training.
We are delighted to have been part of the T-level pilot scheme and are expanding the qualifications we offer from September 2021. T-levels are central to the government reforms of the technical education system and we are proud to be one of the first to deliver these to our students.
All of this activity means Strode College is keener than ever to attract ambitious, hardworking, talented staff to enable us to continue to provide outstanding education every day for every student.
