Job overview
The School is seeking a passionate Head of Geography to take the lead in setting the standards within the Geography department. The role will involve the teaching across Years 5 to 8, preparing pupils for the Common Entrance Examination at 13+ and Scholarship examinations to a wide variety of leading Independent Senior Schools nationally. The enthusiasm and capability to contribute more widely to the day-to-day life of a busy Prep School is also important.
With strong academic qualifications and experience of teaching Geography to a high standard, the successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the talent to really inspire and develop pupils. The role is available from September 2023, however a January 2024 start date is possible for the right candidate.
