We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Geography to lead our thriving Geography Department, contributing to the delivery of the subject throughout Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, who is capable of working independently as well as part of a supportive team. The successful candidate will be an innovative and well-qualified individual with a strong working ethic, professionalism, flexibility and a high level of energy for the role.
The Senior School has excellent facilities including a learning resource centre, IT suites, sports facilities, Sixth Form centre with lecture theatre, and new music block. We have small classes to enable focus on individual students who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’ (ISI 2017). Our A2 results over the last three years saw an average of 91% A2 grades A*-C and our Geography Department achieved 90% GCSE grades A*-B in 2017.
