We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Head of Geography to join our exceptional academy and further strengthen our staff body. We have a fantastic and diverse cohort of students who continue to make better than expected progress year after year; our current Progress 8 score is 0.37. We are rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and have recently celebrated our best ever results.

Oasis Academy Coulsdon is an 11-16 Academy located adjacent to Coulsdon Common on the edge of the village of Old Coulsdon in the borough of Croydon.

The Academy opened in September 2008, replacing predecessor school Coulsdon High School. Since then the Academy has undergone an extensive refurbishment, completed in November 2011, and we are extremely proud of our modern, light, and welcoming building; not to mention the vast and beautiful fields and grounds set next to beautiful woodland.

We are a fully comprehensive mixed gender school with a fantastic and diverse cohort of students who continue to make better than expected progress year after year; our current Progress 8 score is 0.37. We are rated ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and have recently celebrated our best ever results.

As part of Oasis Community Learning we have a fantastic network of teachers across the country which we utilise to share best practice and constantly evolve our approach to what we do to ensure we are always providing our students with the best standard of education.
