The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Teacher of Geography to join this Catholic 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged “Good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “Outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in 2019.
Our success can be credited to our committed and dedicated staff who strive for excellence and promote high aspirations throughout the school and we are looking for someone who can join our highly talented teaching staff and develop their career with us.
The successful candidate will receive a full programme of CPD and have opportunities for career development within the school.
We are seeking a talented individual to deliver brilliant Geography lessons consistently across KS3-KS5 and to lead the development of the subject in school. They will also be expected to support other curriculum areas where appropriate and to provide great pastoral care to all students.
The successful candidate will:
· Be able to teach Geography at KS3-4 and have the potential to teach Geography at KS5.
· Be able to lead Geography under the direction of a Senior Leader
· Be actively supportive of the Catholic values and beliefs of St John Bosco College and to make a positive contribution to the wider life of the school.
