Bishop Walsh is a great place to teach, where children enjoy learning. We believe in leading pupils to academic excellence, spiritual development and social awareness.
We are looking for a fulltime Head of Geography who follows school values. You will be expected to lead a popular subject and a successful department which has two A-Level groups and 4 GCSE groups.
The successful candidate will be a highly capable classroom teacher with an ability to deliver outstanding and engaging lessons across all Key Stages. They will also be a confident and inspirational teacher who fosters a love of Geography in students and colleagues.
We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who embodies a positive attitude and inspires others. We will expect you to oversee the curriculum and develop and support colleagues to maximise the students’ progress.

Bishop Walsh Catholic School is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. It converted to academy status in January 2014 and is supported by a multi-academy trust called John Paul II Multi-Academy, which sponsors four faith schools in the Midlands area.
