Full Time Head of Girls’ Games Required for September 2018 

The Peterborough School is an independent school with nursery for boys and girls from 6 weeks to 18 years.  The Sports Department is dynamic and encourages participation and excellence in a wide range of activities throughout the Preparatory and Senior School. 

We are therefore seeking to appoint an ambitious, well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate teacher to lead girls’ games.  The successful candidate will also be responsible within the Sports Department for the co-ordination of GCSE and A-Level curriculum PE.  

The School has its own salary scale, subsidised school lunches, free on site staff parking and there is generous fee remission for staff children.

The Peterborough School is an independent, co-educational, Church of England school for children aged 4-18. There are 440 pupils and it is situated in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. There is also The Peterborough School Nursery, which is Ofsted “outstanding”. 

The Peterborough School is part of the Woodard group of schools, the largest collection of Church of England schools in England and Wales. Peterborough High School was founded in 1875 as girls' day school. In 2010, the school became fully co-educational and changed its name to The Peterborough School.
