Queen’s College Taunton is one of the leading independent boarding schools based in the south-west of the country, educating approximately 780 boys and girls from age 0 to 18.  There are four boarding houses accommodating over 200 boarders. The school has around 300 permanent staff split approximately 50/50 between academic and support staff. The school is part of the Methodist Independent Schools Trust (MIST).

We are seeking to appoint an energetic and inspirational Head of Girls’ Games with the skills to teach PE and Games throughout the school including GCSE and A Level PE. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for and commitment to Sport, Physical Education and Physical Activity. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level, have a PGCE/QTS or equivalent. They will have excellent subject knowledge and an impressive track records of results, a strategic vision and a willingness to be fully involved in school life.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a key department within the college, at a time when we look to further develop our sporting and physical activity programme.
