Preston Manor is an all-through Co-operative School located in the highly diverse and vibrant London borough of Brent. We are part of an established network of schools and work collaboratively with local schools. We are a large learning community with students from ages 4-19 years old and our curriculum expands across six key stages. The school is situated within sight of the iconic Wembley Stadium, and provides access to all that Wembley has to offer. The school benefits from fantastic links both through public transport and by car.  It is a short 10 minute walk from Wembley Park and Preston Road Underground Stations and a 10 minute bus journey from North Wembley Station. The successful candidate will have the vision, creativity and experience to drive the continued development of the History Department as a valued and popular subject. They will join an energetic school which strives to ensure that all students enjoy learning and surpass expectations of achievement.

History is a popular subject across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and expectations of student behaviour and learning are high. GCSE and A-level History are offered and the department is well resourced for the teaching of these courses. The Department also teaches Government & Politics, with great success at A Level.
