We are looking for an outstanding teacher to join our Humanities Faculty as Head of History. You would be working under a Head of Faculty so that this could be a perfect role for  an outstanding practitioner looking for their first leadership role. For experienced middle leaders looking for a new challenge there is also the potential for additional allowances and whole school leadership responsibilities, linked to learning and teaching.

We are situated in Shirley a leafy suburb of Croydon bordering Addiscombe, in Croydon. We are easily accessed, being within 12 minutes of East Croydon train station by Tram to Woodside tram stop and with ample on site and residential parking.

  • An experienced History Teacher or outstanding NQT with experience of supporting students and staff alike to reach their potential.

Oasis Academy Shirley Park is a mixed, non-selective, Christian, 3-19 academy with sixth form, situated in Croydon in London. The secondary school, which opened as an all-through academy in September 2009, has 1,538 students on its roll, 129 of whom are students in the sixth form. The school is sponsored by Oasis Community Learning (OCL), a multi-academy sponsor, which is legally responsible for 47 Oasis Academies.
