Walhampton is an independent preparatory day and boarding school for 370 boys and girls aged 2-13. The school lies in beautiful ancient woodland on the southern edge of the New Forest, near Lymington in Hampshire. 

Walhampton is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic new Head of History to lead our history department. The successful candidate should be a creative and innovative teacher who brings history to life in and out of the classroom. They will be expected to lead a small but very successful department, teaching Common Entrance and scholarship to Years 6 -8.  This role provides an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified History teacher to take on a Head of Department role and instill a passion for this subject within the pupils.
