Values and Vision
St Patrick's is strongly guided by its Catholic faith, basing its ethos on the Gospel values of love, forgiveness, reconciliation and justice, integrity, humility and truth. Students are treated with respect and tolerance, and valued as individuals, as demonstrated by the Every Child Matters themes incorporated into the curriculum. The school also encourages their ambitions, and teaches them how to live happy and fulfilling lives as they progress into further or higher education and the workplace.
The school is a specialist arts college, and owes a great deal of its success to its involvement and interaction with parents. St Patrick's has also been designated a national teaching school.
