Job overview

The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to lead a successful and thriving History Department from September 2018.  The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of GCSE and KS3 History.  They will also have a strong commitment to high standards of classroom practice and the ability to contribute towards raising student achievement.  

Hurstmere School is a successful, oversubscribed, non-selective Academy for 11-16 year old boys.  Our committed and well qualified teachers offer challenge, encouragement and support in order that boys may achieve their full potential.
