FIXED TERM CONTRACT until 19th July 2024

Term Time + 5 CPD days (38 weeks)

SALARY SPINAL POINT 18 (GRADE RANGE 5)

Salary £25,965 per annum

We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Hockey and Cover Supervisor who can make a significant impact on the hockey programme, the PE department and the school as a whole.

 

The successful candidate will provide direction, support and vision to the school’s extensive hockey programme whilst shaping students core value of “Love as Brethren” in a school that values this, and all sport, as a major part of its ethos. In this role the individual will ensure the programme provides exceptional opportunities for all students of all age groups and ability levels, whilst promoting a consistent environment that promotes excellence.

 

As one of the top state schools for sport in the country, the extra-curricular programme is at the heart of school life. The department is very successful with an enviable reputation both regionally and nationally in a wide variety of sports, participating in a significant number of National finals and holding several National titles each year.

The school is a short walk from Upminster station where Overground and Underground services are available; these connect to central London (Fenchurch Street), Romford and all District Line destinations. The school is also a short drive from the M25, A12 and A13.

The successful candidate is required to complete a six-month probationary period.
