Job overview

Head of House

MPS/UPS

TLR 2C (£7,017)

Start date: Easter or September 2021

A once in a career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort was welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We were pleased that we are oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school again this year. The school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint a Head of House to take responsibility for the learning, progress, attainment, behaviour and welfare of our secondary school children allocated to their House.

This position will be key to establishing the development of a very special and exceptionally strong culture, identity and ethos here at The Beaulieu Park School.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner who has a successful record of enabling high achievement, of forging productive relationships with all students and their families regardless of their background or ability. They will be reflective, excited by taking risks and accepting that failure is a part of the learning process. They will promote lifelong learning through their constant drive to improve their own practice, as well as supporting those they lead and work alongside to develop their skills.

This role will suit an ambitious teacher with aspirations of Senior Leadership. Specific responsibilities are outlined in the Job Description.

If you would like an informal conversation with the Principal (on the phone or virtually), please contact Mrs Baggott on 01245 943500 or email kbaggott@beaulieuparkschool.com

The closing date is Midday on Monday 25th January 2021. Interviews will be held w/c 1st February 2021
