We are looking to appoint an experienced HR professional to lead the development and delivery of the HR function across our multi academy trust.  This is an exciting opportunity to influence the development of HR within an evolving and growing organisational context.

You will lead, standardise and  ultimately centralise the Trust’s operational HR processes including developing operational policies and practices, and developing the Trust’s People Strategy to expand our existing skilled and committed workforce to support the Trust’s growth plans.

Our ideal candidate will:

• Be an experienced and professionally qualified HR professional with business acumen.

• Possess a good working knowledge of current HR legislation and a proven ability to apply this knowledge in practice.

• Be experienced in supporting change management processes including restructures and TUPE transfers.

This role would be ideal for an HR generalist with experience within the  education or public sector , who also has experience of working across other industry sectors, and who is looking for a new challenge.

Career with Endeavour MAT - what we can offer you:

In the competitive world of educational recruitment, we appreciate how important it is for individuals to consider whether there is a natural fit between their personal values and those of the organisation they are anticipating joining, whatever stage of their career they join us.

As well as offering you a competitive salary with pay progression opportunities, access to a generous pension scheme, and free onsite parking, and generous holiday entitlement, you will be working with a team of talented, engaged and motivated colleagues. Our common values of respect, integrity, determination, equality of opportunity and self-management help instil a strong work ethic among staff and students alike and our supportive culture provides what many of our existing staff describe as a ‘family feel’ within our Trust.

The Application Process:

We would normally welcome visits to the Trust’s schools for interested candidates, however, due to the current Covid restrictions we regret that this may not be possible at present. Please see the job description for the post and if you would like an informal conversation to discuss the role in more detail, we would be happy to arrange this. Please call Barbara Guess 01322 250285 extn 914.

Deadline for applications is:  midnight on Wednesday 3rd February 2021, with interviews expected to take place on 11th or 12th February 2021. Endeavour MAT aims to help our students and staff find their own individual pathway to success.

Our Trust was formed in April 2017 to help local schools in Dartford collaborate effectively and share resources, administration and specialist managerial skills and, of course, best teaching practice. The Trust includes selective and non-selective schools, single sex and co-ed.

Endeavour MAT aims to help our students find their own individual pathway to success. Exam results, apprenticeships and university places are important, but we also understand the need to develop wider life skills, the communication abilities and confidence that will contribute to both job prospects and happiness. Integral to this is the ‘Endeavour Mindset’, the idea that ‘how’ we do things is as important as our overall strategic goals. Our schools of course have their own identities but all share this Endeavour mindset, encouraging students to reflect and embrace challenges, learn from mistakes and develop the resilience essential in our rapidly changing world. This growth approach and on-going drive for improvement is shared by all Trust staff.

Endeavour MAT is a small Trust in Kent comprised of three secondary schools, one primary school and a sixth form provision, WG6

Wilmington Grammar School for Girls

Wilmington Grammar School for Boys

Stone Lodge School

Wilmington Primary School
