About the role:
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding candidate to lead and manage the Student Services Hub at City and Islington College’s Holloway Campus and to have strategic oversight for Work Experience/Placements, Student Engagement and Enrichment (including the Learner Voice) and Student Communications across the whole of City and Islington College.
Be an outstanding leader and manager with a proven track record for Student Services in FE. Experience of managing and developing teams, performance management of staff and raising expectations of students.
Knowledge of the range of services offered by the Student Hub within an FE setting
Putting the learner first to ensure outstanding student support is delivered in the Hub
Be flexible to meet the demands and responsibilities of managing a range of student services in a busy campus and cross college responsibilities working with the Assistant Director Student Services and Heads of Hub at other campuses
You should have an excellent track record of managing and developing the following services for students: Work Experience/Placement, Student Engagement and Enrichment, IAG and Careers, Registry and Admissions, Safeguarding and Student Well-Being, Student Finance & Libraries.
